Services Overview

Services Enriched with Traditions & Culture

The vision for the service model as expressed by the Binche, Nak’azdli and Tl’azt’en First Nations is a “wellness centre enriched with the traditions and culture of the Dak’elh people in a warm and welcoming space, working in harmony with existing health services and with no barriers to care”.

The centre will function as part of a hub and spoke model. Based in Fort St. James, the hub will complement and support health services available both in Fort St. James and each community. These services will integrate with FNHA virtual offerings, (Virtual Doctor of the Day, Virtual Substance Use and Psychiatry Services), with outreach provided to Binche, Nak’azdli and Tl’azt’en based on clinical collaboration and consensus. Tl’azt’en and Binche will both offer touchdown space for the Dadzi Wellness Centre team as part of a coordinated schedule developed to address gaps through targeted outreach services coordinated by the Clinic Operations Manager in collaboration with communities & practitioners.
